Eco-Friendly Homes Protected By Conservation Areas
Its not unusual to see wild turkey and unusual species of birds through the stands of maple, poplar, birch, and mountain laurel that Nature has provided at The Reserve. You may even catch a nice-sized bass in our largest pond.
Heather Lane Designs has created a landscape with four-season interest to complement the natural beauty of this nature sanctuary. The private drive from Newtown Turnpike will be lined with dogwoods, amalankia and sugar maples. Groups of annuals will be rotated at the entrance for seasonal hues.
*Units 13, 14 and 15 are currently under construction. All other units and improvements NEED NOT BE BUILT.
Lavish Landscaping Ensures The Privacy of Each Home
Landscape around the homes will include native shrubs and perennials. The homes will feature flowering ornamentals, viburnums, native rhododrendron and other large flowering shrubs. Hybrid Cleveland select pear trees will give a lavish show of white blossoms in spring. No pesticides will be used at The Reserve.
Each drive will be lined with Belgian block, and beyond Grassy Plains Road, the landscape will bow to nature. The walking path along the pond is of natural wood chips, and there is a small landing, just right for launching a canoe.
